Spravato (Esketamine)

Spravato is a breakthrough treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Unlike traditional oral antidepressants, Spravato is a nasal spray derived from ketamine and works by targeting glutamate receptors in the brain—offering rapid relief for some patients. Treatment is administered in-office under medical supervision, typically twice a week at first, then less frequently over time. Spravato is FDA-approved and may be covered by insurance if you have tried at least two other antidepressants without success.
